I grew up in Northern Michigan and have been honing my creativity for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I would color a page in a coloring book then redraw the same image and add my own elements and designs. I drew inspiration from the nature I was surrounded with, my grandmother’s ability to capture realism and magic in her sketches, and my father’s impressive knowledge of wood and his woodworking skills.

I soon discovered that I was blessed with a God-given talent and I wanted to share it with others, so I spent years experimenting in many mediums to find my niche as an artist. I received design degrees from Ferris State College, MI and San Antonio College, TX and worked as a Graphic Artist for a large advertising agency in NC.

My adventures as an Army wife have exposed me to places and cultures that have also shaped my style and technique. Through my art, I document my experiences, and capture scenes as I see them.

Two of my favorite mediums, painting, and woodworking, bring me peace and serve as my outlet to meditate on the beauty and variety of life. My goal is to convey this to the viewer.

More recently, I have found enjoyment in upcycling smaller, unique pieces that are more accessible to the consumer.
