Corinne and her husband are both native southern Californians. Due to her husbands career as an Army Chaplain and her career as an Army civilian, they lived many places around the world.

They moved to Oro Valley, AZin November, 2020 after they retired. Corinne has always enjoyed creating with her hands so she established her company, Corie Sue’sCreations, in March, 2019 while living in New Braunfels, TX. Her jewelry won awards at various shows in New Braunfels, TX and her pine needle art received Honorable Mention at an Oro Valley show.

Her pine needle art has allowed her to express her creativity by using her passion for rock hounding and including semi-precious stones in her baskets and artwork as well as using other artists nature art as a base in her artwork. She loves to incorporate various nature elements like acorns, walnuts and hickory nut slices, driftwood and antlers. She has created more than 300 baskets and art pieces and each one is unique.
